Dear Conference Delegates,
On behalf of the Organising Committee, I welcome all of you to the 8th International Conference on Social Work in Health and Mental Health. This is the first time Singapore is holding an international social work conference and we are excited to host you, both as a participant to this conference as well as a visitor to Singapore.
We thank all of you, social workers, friends and colleagues from Singapore and around the world, for participating and presenting papers of currency on social work practice, research and education. You bring to this conference your expertise and I am confident that new ideas and approaches will evolve from this meeting of minds .
To enable you to navigate through the programme and venue on all the 5 days, register your attendance at the conference and various sessions, pose questions to speakers, get instant updates on events, catch up with old friends and meet new ones, mark attendance and submit evaluation for VCF funding etc, we have installed a mobile phone application for your use. You may now download this application here(Android and IOS) to get the latest information about the conference and to familiarise yourself with the use of this application before the conference. Please note that the mobile application will replace all hard copy programme and materials.
For those of you who are travelling to Singapore, please plan your trip to arrive in time for the Conference Opening on 19 June 2016 at 4 pm at the University Cultural Centre for the opening address by our Health Minister and keynote addresses by two renowned speakers.
